Recipe of the Month


For one waffle, add:

  • 2 Tbs. assorted shaved or shredded Italian cheeses (such as Romano, Asiago, Parmesan)
  • 1 Tbs. chopped fresh basil
  • 2 Tbs. pine nuts
  • 1 Tbs. chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh jalapeno
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • smoke or chipotle seasoning to taste (or chipotle peppers)
  • topping suggestion: aioli (mayonnaise, chopped basil, and lemon juice or apple cider vinegar)

* vegan cheese and vegenaise can be substituted for cheese and mayonnaise

* with so many additions, this will most likely make more than one Belgian-sized waffle
